(in the Playhouse on Shakespeare St, that is)
For the final production ever to be presented at the Shakespeare Street Playhouse, director Heather MacTavish has selected the psychological thriller Night Watch by American playwright Lucille Fletcher (perhaps best known as the author of the spine-chilling Sorry, Wrong Number).
A suspenseful thriller set in a lush Manhattan townhouse, Night Watch tells the story of a lonely, unhappily married woman who claims to have seen a murder committed in the deserted house across the way. But does anybody believe her?
The cast, selected at auditions recently held in the Kucom Playhouse, includes (in alphabetical order):
John Atkinson
Connor Bashford
Joe Clutterbuck
Stuart Darlington
Anne Elliott
Bronwyn Grannall
Donna Kellion
Rowena Marshall
Peter Rosier
Night Watch will be running over 3 weeks (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) starting on 23 November and finishing on December 10, with a twilight session starting at 6 pm on Sunday 27 November.
Bookings available through MECC.
